A new horse friend for Max and Moe came today from Apple Valley farm near Sundridge, Ontario.
Trotting ahead of Moe in this photo, the two are just getting aquainted. Parker, who just joined us today, is a Canadian horse. The history of the Canadian Horse is a fascinating piece of our Canadian history. Almost extinct in the 70's. Truly a rare breed, the Canadian Horse made a comeback in the 80's. It is one of the strongest, fastest, hardiest, horse anywhere. More details in days to come. The Canadian could win races, pull logs and stay outside during -40 with blowing snow.
